The International may be without Swedish players for the first time

Upcoming The International 11 may be the first tournament in the series without Swedish players. This will happen if Team Liquid doesn't win Last Chance.
During the DPC season and Regional Qualifiers, all the participants of the tournament were determined. It turned out that there was not a single Swedish representative among them. The only chance for the participants of this country to attend the championship is if Team Liquid wins Last Chance. It includes 4 Swedes.
In the past, Esportsmen from Sweden have regularly attended tournaments of The International series and ranked high there. In 2013, Alliance, which at the time consisted only of Swedish players, took first place.
