NAVI Junior Eliminate Nigma Galaxy From PGL Wallachia Season 4
After brimming with potential in online matches, we finally get to see the promising NAVI Junior roster play in their first LAN event. To make a statement, the academy team has eliminated Nigma Galaxy from the event, shortly after sending Talon Esports out yesterday.
The highlight of the series was the second map. NAVI Junior convincingly won the laning stage, but struggled to make a play on the map, leading to Nigma Galaxy building up a 14,000 net worth lead.
However, NAVI Junior held the high ground and swung the game back. Niku got six-slotted on Puck with Aghanim’s Scepter and Refresher Orb, outlasting fights and dealing massive damage with two Dream Coils.
After a grueling 60-minute game, NAVI Junior completed the upset, sending SumaiL and company out of PGL Wallachia Season 4.
NAVI Junior currently sits in the 2 - 2 pool, and will play an elimination match tomorrow. A victory would secure their spot in the Playoffs and a guaranteed top-eight finish.
