TSM and Wildcard Gaming reach the earliest megacreeps
In the DPC: NA Upper Division match between TSM and Wildcard Gaming, both teams broke Tier 3 structures and achieved megacreeps at 36:26. This is the earliest timing since Dota switched to Source 2.
The previous record when 2 teams reached megacreeps at once was in a match between QWERTY and F5 in August 2021. At the Dota 2 Champions League Season 3 tournament, megacreeps appeared at 40:58.
Since September 2015, there have been only 41 games on the professional Dota 2 scene where both sides achieved megacreeps. Statistically, there are no more than 6 such matches per year.
On the record-setting map between TSM and Wildcard Gaming, the latter won. However, the victory in the series went to TSM. At the moment, the winner goes through the regional league with a 4-0 statistic, while the loser has the exact opposite statistic of 0-4.
