Team Secret and Natus Vincere left Epic League
The third gaming day of Epic League Division 1 ended. There were finished 2 matches of the lower bracket, after which Team Secret and Natus Vincere left the tournament, taking 5-6 places.
Team Secret vs. Team Liquid
Before the match, despite the downturn, Team Secret was the favorite because, in this tournament, they had already defeated Team Liquid twice: first time — in the group stage, and then — in the Play-In stage.
The first map began in style, familiar to Team Secret. The team seized the advantage from the start and gradually increased it. But in the 25th minute, it had an unsuccessful fight, after which Team Liquid began a comeback.
On the second map, the situation was similar. The initial domination and advantage of about 10,000 of Net Worth didn't help Team Secret finish the map in their favor, and Team Liquid, after a great fight on the 35th minute, made a comeback again.
As a result, Team Liquid wins with a 2:0 score, while Team Secret leaves the tournament and seems to go to the Christmas holidays before anyone else. The team is missing OGA Dota PIT Season 4: Europe/CIS, and no other major tournaments for this year have been announced for Europe.
Natus Vincere vs. OG
Before the match, OG was the favorite, although Natus Vincere started the tournament's playoffs from the upper bracket.
OG entirely controlled the first map. From the start to the end, the team didn't give Natus Vincere a chance.
The second map turned out to be much more interesting. From the beginning until the 27th minute Natus Vincere was leading about 6 thousand in gold. But there was a series of unsuccessful fights, and already on the 34th minute, OG celebrated the victory. Thus, OG goes further, and Natus Vincere is eliminated from Epic League.
