Overview of teams ranking changes on December 21
The penultimate update of the ranking of professional Dota 2 teams this year has been released. The past week was full of Esports events: Dota was in all regions! OGA Dota PIT Season 4: Europe/CIS ended right in the middle of the week, and BTS Pro Series Season 4 ended on the weekend.
This week, most of the teams went to the New Year holidays, and only the Chinese region will continue to delight us with matches. The Huya Dota2 Winter Invitational playoffs start the day after tomorrow.
This week Natus Vincere became the champion of OGA Dota PIT Season 4: Europe/CIS. Due to the victory, the team immediately climbed 6 lines and took 5th place in our ranking. The tournament's vice-champion, the OG team, didn't change its position but came close to 3rd place, where Virtus Pro is.
The triumphant of BTS Pro Series Season 4 in the Asian region, the TNC Predator team, approached the cherished Top-10 of our ranking, where Nigma is located, and stopped at 12th place. There are only 39 points between the teams!
Right behind them, at 13th place, is the winner of the American region BTS Pro Series Season 4 — the Thunder Predator team. On the eve of the DPC season, the Peruvian team has gained good form and wins the second tournament in a row.
The next ranking will be released on Monday, December 28. We don't expect dramatic changes from it because the Dota 2 tournaments are almost over this year.
