Only SoNNeikO is left in Darkside
Unexpected news appeared on the Internet. On the team registration site from Valve, only π·πΊAkbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev has remained on the Darkside roster. However, the club hasn't announced any changes yet.
The team parted ways with π§πΎRoman "dizzying" Kostevich, π°π¬Evgeniy "Blizzy" Ri, π·πΊMaxim "re1bl" Afanasyev, and π·πΊ Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian. The first two players joined the roster only on March 11, 2023. π·πΊRodjER now substitutes π·πΊAlexey "Solo" Berezin in 9 Pandas. Recall that the latter is missing the ESL One Berlin Major 2023 as he couldn't get a visa to Germany.
Such drastic changes are most likely due to the failure at the DPC EEU Upper Division. In the spring, the team lost all its matches and finished last in the standings. After that, Darkside will continue to play in the Lower Division in the Summer Tour.
