The first stage of the closed qualifiers for the first season of the Dota Pro Circuit: SEA Regional League has ended. According to its results, Neon Esports, 496 Gaming, Execration and Vice Esports received tickets to the first division.
The second stage of the closed qualifiers will run from January 8 to 10. 8 teams from open qualifiers and 4 weakest teams from the first stage will compete for 8 slots in the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit: SEA Season 1.

Interestingly, one of the strongest teams of the last year from the Asian region, Motivade.Trust Gaming, failed to make it through the open qualifiers.
At the closed qualifiers second stage, all teams will be divided into 2 groups of 6 in each, where they will play according to a Round-Robin system in the BO2 format. Only the 4 strongest teams from each group will get places in the lower division of the Dota Pro Circuit: SEA Season 1.
