BTS banned DeMoN from performing in DPC Regional League
Tournament operator Beyond The Summit has banned Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho from participating in the Dota Pro Circuit: NA Regional League but has allowed the Aristotle team to find a replacement.
In 2018, DeMoN completed his Esports career and tried himself as a team coach. Also, he was repeatedly invited as a caster and an Esports analyst to various events. But in the summer of 2020, several women at once accused DeMoN of sexual harassment. Due to public outcry, many studios refused to work with the player.
After the Regional Leagues' announcement, DeMoN decided to return to the competitive scene as a player, joining the Aristotle team. Several games later, tournament operator BTS banned the player from this competition, justifying this by conducting its own investigation, during which the previous accusations turned out to be true.
For Aristotle, the organizer allowed to replace the banned player. Already tonight, the team will have to play with Team DogChamp for the right to enter the top division of the Dota Pro Circuit: NA Season 1.
